Awards	Harris Jayaraj won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award (Tamil) for Minnale (2001), Kaakha Kaakha (2003), Anniyan (2005), Vaaranam Aayiram (2008) and Ayan (2009). He has won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director for Kaakha Kaakha (2003) and Anniyan / Ghajini (2005). He has been awarded Meera Tamil Music Awards (by Isai Aruvi TV) in 2008 in the categories of Best Album of the Year (Unnalae Unnalae) and the Most Listened Song of the Year ("June Ponaal"). In 2009 he received awards in the categories of Best Music Composer and Best Music Album of the Year, both for Vaaranam Aayiram, and also the Best Romantic Song of the Year award for the song "Anbe En Anbe" in Dhaam Dhoom. In 2009, he received an International Tamil Film Award (ITFA) in the category of Best Music Director (Vaaranam Aayiram). He received two Vijay Awards in 2009 in the categories of Best Music Composer (Vaaranam Aayiram and Dhaam Dhoom) and Favorite Song of the Year ("Anjalai" from Vaaranam Aayiram). In the next consecutive year, he was awarded the Best Music Director Award for Aadhavan. He has received the prestigious Kalaimamani award from the Tamil Nadu government.
